Culturally-Minded Productivity Support For Teams Of Any Size
From one-time workshops to long-term consulting, we are here to guide your business and culture transformation.
KEYNOTES & WORKSHOPS
Empower team leaders and members with captivating talks and inspiring workshops.
Each session is crafted using adult learning theory, applying techniques that spark lasting momentum for both professional development and personal growth.
This brief presentation highlights organizational and time management best practices (including the “Getting Things Done” and Pomodoro methodology), in order to empower participants to kickstart a healthy and effective daily routine.
It may not sound like the most exciting topic but, as many of us have experienced, a poorly run meeting can be an enemy of productivity. This program unveils the secrets of why employees resist meeting attendance and participation. Learn how to prepare for leading team meetings of any size, ensure that your audience shows up (both physically and mentally), conduct an efficient and purposeful conversation, and convert that conversation into real results.
Need to tackle the hard stuff? This interactive lecture combines behavioral frameworks and approaches with personal storytelling to help participants create safe spaces and gain confidence in awkward (or even toxic) situations. We review how to overcome objections in negotiation, how to de-escalate conflict in a meeting, and how to gracefully say no. Ideal for sales teams and new leaders.
This session focuses on the communication techniques of “being coachable” (seeking out and receiving constructive criticism) as well as providing feedback and coaching others (peers and direct reports, in some cases leadership) in an effective way that allows for change and growth while not damaging trusted relationships.
This session covers best practices for Considerate, Contextual, Co-operative, and Customized communication techniques. We cover how to best leverage various channels like email, chat, phone, or face to face in order to get what you need from any interaction. Different preferences and personality types (e.g. introvert v extrovert) are discussed as a consideration for adapting communication styles. We also cover the meaning and recognition of non-verbal cues and build emotional intelligence skills.
PROGRAM OR PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Look no further if you need to expedite a product launch, implement a strategy that’s been sitting on the shelf, or simply get your existing work to feel more organized and cohesive.
The Fiery Feather creates a supportive and structured experience in serving as a strategic project manager for a single initiative, or a fractional COO across an organization.
“Theresa has been a critical member of the Primary Theory team and has added tremendous value to how we deliver and engage with our customers and each other. She excels in collaborating to get things done efficiently while managing projects and clients thoughtfully. Theresa has also supported our cultural aspirations and commitments with work that reinforces what makes this agency special.”

MEETING & EVENT FACILITATION
Team members and leaders need to be able to fully participate in important brainstorming sessions, strategic planning meetings, and team building events.
Get out of the weeds and let The Fiery Feather help to plan and execute the best meeting you’ll have all year. Theresa M. Ward serves as a master facilitator who ensures that ideas are heard (and documented!), objectives get met (on time!), and (believe it or not!) everyone enjoys themselves.
“Theresa is a great thinker, an outstanding communicator, and an inventive problem solver. She’s got a keen understanding of process, knowing when and how things can go off the rails. And even more important, she’s a student of human psychology and organizational design, so she works with emotional intelligence (and grace under fire) to solve all kinds of business problems.”

TEAM CULTURE SUPPORT
Productivity is about the heart, not just the head. When your team isn’t collaborating well, is struggling with trust, or just doesn’t seem fully engaged in the work – it can impact both your bottom line and your sanity.
The Fiery Feather serves as an extension of your team to diagnose challenges in team culture and infuse collaboration techniques. This can include one-on-one coaching or group activities, during a one-time retreat or over an extended period of time. We commit until the team is back on track and each individual’s strengths are shining.
“Theresa’s genuine passion for helping our team reach its full potential shines through in every important piece of culture-building wisdom she shares. Theresa’s thoughtful guidance during this early stage of our journey has empowered us to be closer as a team, more organized as a company, and even stronger as an industry up-and-comer.”
— Michelle Khouri, CEO and Founder, FRQNCY Media

Theresa is a powerfully open person who consistently encourages people through complex business and social situations. As a strategic partner, her ability to take on all of my tangents and make directional sense of them is an art form few people have. As a facilitator, her levity and energy pull people and ideas into the conversation. All of these skills combined make her an incredible friend and collaborator, a thoughtful team player, and a leader very worth of following.Shelton Davis Founder, Empathy Lab
